Welcome to the Capers Steakhouse website! Capers quickly became an east side tradition after opening in 1982. We are known for our 'steaks by the ounce' and you can order any size steak you wish. Contrary to most establishments, Capers encourages you to build your own meal where you only get as much or as little as you wish. Our prices are very affordable and our food is popular with everyone, young and....not-so-young. Capers is a perfect place to bring your family, friends and business associates.
We offer four cuts of steak: Our original Delmonico (or rib-eye), New York Strip, T-Bone, and Filet. Market fluctuations dictate daily prices but unlike other restaurants, if commodity prices go down, so do our steak prices. Our Monday and Tuesday T-Bone days have become legendary as have Thursday and Sunday Delmonico days.
Capers only seats about 80 people so we cannot accept reservations nor can we accommodate large parties by pushing tables together. Our steaks are cooked to order and cannot be rushed, so please, if you are in a hurry, come visit another time when you can more fully enjoy the atmosphere and friendly camaraderie our experienced servers can provide.
